Terms of Use

1. Agreement and scope

These Terms form an agreement between you and the operator of the Fylovo service ("Fylovo", "we", "us", or "our"). They apply to Fylovo's converters, Scan Lab, workflows, downloads, and browser-only tools. If you do not agree, do not submit files or run a tool.

If you use Fylovo for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization.

2. The service

Fylovo provides automated file-processing tools. Some actions happen locally in your browser. Other actions upload a temporary copy to Fylovo's server, create a result, and make that result available for a limited time. Supported features, limits, and formats may change as the service develops.

The service is currently offered without an account and without a fee. These Terms do not promise that every feature will always remain available or free.

3. Your files and permissions

You keep all rights you have in your files. You give Fylovo only the limited permission needed to receive, copy, process, and temporarily store a file to perform the action you request.

You must own the file or have all permissions required to process it. You are responsible for the content you choose, the instructions you give, and how you use or share the result.

4. Prohibited use

You must not use Fylovo to:

• process unlawful material or infringe privacy, copyright, trademark, confidentiality, or other rights;
• upload malware, executable code disguised as another format, destructive archives, or material intended to damage or overload the service;
• bypass size limits, rate limits, access controls, security checks, or private endpoints;
• probe, scan, reverse engineer, disrupt, automate abusive traffic against, or gain unauthorized access to the service or its infrastructure; or
• use results for fraud, deception, harassment, exploitation, or another unlawful purpose.

We may reject a file, limit requests, or block access when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or third parties.

5. Privacy and temporary files

Our Privacy Policy explains how Fylovo handles files, technical data, cookies, and optional advertising. Server-processed uploads and results are designed to expire automatically within one hour. Browser-only tools process files on your device unless the page clearly states otherwise.

Automatic deletion is a safety measure, not a backup service. Do not use Fylovo as storage, and do not upload secrets or highly sensitive information unless you have assessed that the service is appropriate for your needs.

6. Results and your responsibility

File conversion is not exact in every case. A result may lose layout, formulas, fonts, color information, animation, media tracks, metadata, accessibility information, signatures, or other format-specific features. Optical character recognition can misread or omit text.

You must keep an independent copy of every original and inspect the completed file before deleting the original, publishing the result, sending it to another person, or using it for an important purpose. Fylovo is not a substitute for professional review, archival validation, or a regulated document-handling system.

7. Availability and warranties

Fylovo is provided on an "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, suitable for a particular purpose, compatible with every file, or able to preserve every feature. We may suspend access for maintenance, security, capacity, legal, or operational reasons.

Nothing in these Terms limits any warranty or right that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Fylovo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, or for loss of data, files, revenue, profit, business, opportunity, goodwill, or anticipated savings arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on the service.

These limits do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful. In particular, they do not affect liability that cannot be excluded for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, wilful misconduct, gross negligence where applicable, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your mandatory statutory and consumer rights.

Because Fylovo is a free automated service, you agree that keeping originals and checking results are essential safeguards. Any liability that remains will be determined under applicable law and only for loss that was reasonably foreseeable from the relevant breach.

9. Business users

If you use Fylovo for business or professional purposes, you are responsible for your organization's security, compliance, retention, confidentiality, and quality-control requirements. You will indemnify Fylovo against third-party claims arising from your unlawful content, infringement of third-party rights, or deliberate misuse of the service, to the extent permitted by law. This section does not apply to consumers acting wholly outside a trade, business, craft, or profession.

10. Fylovo materials

The Fylovo name, interface, design, site content, and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms allow you to use the public service for its intended purpose; they do not transfer ownership of Fylovo materials or permit you to copy, resell, or exploit the service itself.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the service, security requirements, or applicable law changes. The updated date will appear at the top. A new version applies to actions you take after it is published; you will be asked to accept the Terms when running a tool.

12. Severability and no waiver

If a court or authority finds part of these Terms unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply to the extent allowed by law. A delay in enforcing a right does not waive that right.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where the Fylovo service operator is established, without overriding mandatory rules that apply to you. If you are a consumer, you keep the mandatory consumer protections and court rights available in the country where you live. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking an urgent protective remedy where permitted.
